Day 01: Kandy
Arrive in Sri Lanka. You will be met by our representative and transferred to Kandy.
En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

Day 02: Kandy
After breakfast commence city tour of Kandy, including Upper Lake Drive, Market Square and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
* Kandy – the hill capital. Venue of the annual Perahera. The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of the Buddhism’s influence in Sri Lanka today. Temple’s shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere.
* Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya- Sixty Seven hectares of exquisite beauty and botanical treasurers containing more than 4000 species, this is haven not only for Scientists but to every nature lover as well.
* Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic – ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha’s Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orison princess’ hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka’s most prized possession. Evening view a cultural show featuring various dance types of Sri Lanka. Overnight stay at Kandy.

Day 03: NuwaraEliya
After breakfast leave for NuwaraEliya and enroute visit tea plantation.
* Tea Plantation – Tea was first planted in Sri Lanka in 1824 at the Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, when a few plants were brought from China. More were introduced from Assam in 1839. In 1867 a Scottish Planter named James Taylor planted tea seedlings on an 8 hectares of forestland, in the Loolcondura Estate.
* NuwaraEliya – The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night.
All around NuwaraEliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses are like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions.
*Seethaeliya – the little Kovil dedicated to Seetha with statue of Rama, Lakshmana and Hanuman. Overnight stay at NuwaraEliya.

Day 04: Yala
After breakfast proceed to Yala. Afternoon safari at Yala National Park.
* Yalais a haven for Fauna both indigenous and migrant. Bird concentrations are by the Lagoons/Salvers. Here are thousands of Flamingoes, Assemblies of spotted Billed Pelicans, Spoonbills, Cormorants and various species of Herons. Pheasants, Pea Fowl, Peacocks and the Wild Fowl are found in hundreds. Wild Buffalo and herds of wild Elephants are a common sight. Whether it is birds or animals you have them all at Yala. Overnight stay at Yala.

Day 05: Bentota
After breakfast leave for Bentota. En route commence sightseeing of Galle.
* Galle - Sri Lanka’s most historically interesting town is Galle. Built on a premonitory rock in the south of the Island. It was a major port until about 100 years, but today still handles shipping and sailing boats in the natural harbor. Stroll around the Light House and harbor or visit the old town where you can see the traditional lace makers and carvers and purchase some the finest shell-craft souvenirs in the world. Checked in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Bentota.

Day 06: Colombo
After breakfast transfer to Colombo and commence city tour of Colombo including shopping.
* Colombo a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street – the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. The historic Dawatagaha Mosque and the former Eye Hospital are two buildings in Cinnamon Gardens worth looking at. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square. Overnight stay at Colombo.

Day 04: Amsterdam
On to Netherlands, geographically a low lying country with 20% of its area below sea level, and popular for its dykes & canals.

Today relax in your coach as we proceed to Keukenhof in Netherlands – the largest spectacular floral display in the world. Colorful tulips bloom till the 18th of May. Marvel at the beautiful floral displays and colourful flower beds set amongst ancient trees. Visit Vole dam, a charming traditional town of Holland. Drive through idyllic landscapes, crisscrossed canals, see authentic wooden houses and visit the old fashioned cheese making farm. Witness a demonstration of how cheese is made. Liechtenstein is the sixth-smallest independent nation in the world. It follows a policy of neutrality and is one of the few countries in the world that maintains no military. Sail over the Giudecca Canal, past the Adriatic Sea to arrive at St. Mark’s Square – the main square of Venice. This astonishingly wonderful lagoon city is renowned for the beauty of its setting, architecture and artworks. Treasure a romantic gondola ride, a flat bottomed Venetian rowing boat, amidst the stunning backdrop of Baroque buildings. This, truly is one of the best ways to enjoy the enchanting city. Also witness a Murano Glass demonstration and marvel at the intricate and colourful glass artifacts hand-crafted by master craftsmen. We return to the pier and later, enjoy an Indian dinner.

Day 11: Florence
Guided city tour of Florence – the birthplace of Italian Renaissance and former home of the Medicis. Also Visit the Square of Miracles and see the remarkable Leaning Tower of Pisa. This morning check out and drive to Florence – cradle of the Renaissance. Along with your English speaking local guide, proceed for a city tour of historic Florence. This includes the Duomo, city’s most iconic landmark, the Campanile, the Baptistery with its Gates to Paradise, Piazza Della Signoria – an open air museum crammed with Renaissance sculptures, edged by historic cafes and presided over by the magnificent Palazzo Vecchio, the famed Ponte Vecchio bridge across the river Arno and Santa Croce where some of the famous Italian personalities like Michelangelo, Galileo, Dante Alighieri, father of the Italian language, are buried. Next drive to Piazzale Michelangelo to get a spectacular city panorama from this vast square. Later continue your journey to Pisa – to visit the Square of Miracles and see the remarkable Leaning Tower of Pisa. Enjoy an Indian dinner.

Day 12: Rome
All roads lead to Rome – the eternal city. Guided city tour. Enter the world’s smallest country – the Vatican City. (includes the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel and the divinely beautiful St. Peter’s Basilica).

Today we proceed to Rome, a city built on seven hills situated on the banks of the river Tiber. On arrival a delicious Indian or a choice of local meal awaits you. Proceed for a guided city tour of Rome with an expert English-speaking local guide. Arrive at the Vatican City – the smallest country in the world (shorts or sleeveless vests not allowed). Enter the Vatican Museum, where you will see the renowned classical sculptures and masterpieces of the Renaissance art. Visit the famed Sistine Chapel - a pure source of inspiration for art lovers and tourists alike and known for its masterpiece - the Last Judgement. This is also where the Pope gets elected. Later visit the divinely beautiful basilica of St. Peter’s – the unparalleled home of architectural and artistic masterpieces. Get mesmerized by the works of Michelangelo and Bernini. Visit the beautiful Trevi Fountains, where the legend goes that tossing a coin over your shoulder gets you back to Rome. We continue and drive past the Victor Emmanuel Monument, the Roman Forum, and several more sights of this remarkable city. Photo Stop at Colosseum. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner.

Day 13: Departure
Your holiday’s ends today and it’s time to fly back home.

Day 1 – Arrive in London

Day 2 - London Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed to explore the charm of this pulsating city by stepping on the world famous Hop on-Hop off bus City Tour which drives to the famous landmarks the Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Tower Bridge, River Thames, The Tower of London and many more. Entire day is free to explore London as you wish. Shop at chic boutiques or visit the very impressive museums and historic landmarks or you should take advantage of an optional excursion to the Windsor castle or Tower of London. Overnight in London.

Day 4 - London to Edinburgh
Check out of your hotel after breakfast. Then proceed to St. Pancras International station for your Hi-speed train trip to Edinburgh. Arrive at Station. Proceed to your hotel. After checking in to your hotel, the rest of the day is at your leisure to exploring the city. Overnight in Edinburgh.

Day 5 - Edinburgh - Loch Ness, Glencoe and the Highlands Tour
Today proceed to enjoy your trip to Glencoe known for its stunningly beautiful, dramatic cliff faces and steep slopes. Later proceed to Loch Ness and Pitlochry. Head back to Edinburgh crossing the famous Forth Bridge. Overnight in Edinburgh.

Day 6 - Edinburgh - Inverness
Check out of your hotel after breakfast. Then proceed to the station to board your train from Edinburgh to Inverness, nestled on the river Ness. Arrive at Station. Proceed to your hotel. After checking in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to exploring the city. Overnight in Inverness.

Day 7 - Inverness
Today you have the entire day at leisure to explore this beautiful town on your own. You can enjoy a Historical Walking tour of Inverness, through heart of the city. Overnight at Inverness.

Day 8 - Inverness - Glasgow
After breakfast check out of our hotel and proceed to station to board the train for Glasgow. Arrive at Glasgow and proceed to your hotel, later proceed for Hop off – Hop on Tour of Glasgow to explore excellent museums, art galleries and beautiful parks. Overnight at Glasgow.

Day - 9 Fly back home
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight back home.
